Ok, lately, firefox has been devouring my memory.

I opened up task manager and nowadays, it uses like up to 100,000k+ memory!

And its random. Sometimes, I open only 1 tab and it becomes like that, sometimes, I
open up alot of tabs but its not as bad. Any help?

I've conduceted a couple of spy sweeps using a couple of programs as I suspected foul
play. But the result still comes to the same. Urgent help needed. Thx.

I get that problem when I run Java applications in Firefox.

I just researched and found out that firefox still has memory leak issues. Well, if anyone got any tips, do share some here.

Apart from uninstalling unused extensions/themes that is.. :)

heh right now firefox is devouring 150mb on my system and I've seen it spike as high as 350.

never seemed slow though.if you're worried about memory usage, then try closing it and having it open only your homepage as it stores your browsing history in the memory.

try disabling addons and re enabling one at a time, it could be a problem with them

Hmm, yes, I see it has a big memory usage, using more than my old PC had as a whole, however it ran. Guess you pay for performance in resources, mind you, I have a lot of addons and themes..
