I've done 2 spyware scans and 1 virus scan and found nothing (Latest versions + updates) Microsoft, Spybot, Norton

For my problem, everything I click or highlight something, it takes at least 2 or more clicks to open the file such as folders, games, and other apps or documents. On firefox, I constantly have to click on the search bar to type in something. The "I" looking thing is showing when I try and type something in the URL box but it takes me at least 10 tries on average to get it to respond and then I can type something in. As for my bookmark on firefox, takes forever!!!!

All started when I had aim, firefox, msn, xfire, and america's army on. For some reason I got an instant message and then aa window's lower and I seen the aim, I had to keep clicking the box to respond. Even after reboots, shutdowns, and disk scans, it still runs slow. Any ideas to fix this?

First thing I would defragment my C: drive. Then I would run more than spybot. Ad-Aware is a good program also. I run both.. it finds stuff that spybot didnt find and vise - versa. Then clean ur Temp internet files. Then reboot. Second I would prolly restore my system to an earlier date / restore point when it was working fine. If you have a slower system i.e. ram and processor. If you running a big app like Americas Army. I would shut down some back ground applications like AIM<-- which I hate. And if you got a instant message & everything slowed down while playing. You might have accidentally changed a setting while clicking the mouse. G/L
