Slicing In Photoshop

    I have no idea what it rly means

    but am i right when I say

    Slicing in photoshop on site templates, is that what makes the buttons able to have links on them (so stuff is clickable)
    sorry, i sound dumb but I have no idea what this really is

    Im asking because I just got a website template and i wanna open a site soon

    Yeah you slice one big template so you can separate the images when you add the coding(so you slice a place for the banner/header, buttons, footer, etc.). You do this with the slice tool in PS btw(kinda obvious though).
