Skip School Sept. 11

really tho, lets take a day outta school, then we can prove that not only can terrorist kill us, but they destroy the next generations education also with each extra attack! Wow we Pwn Them terrorist foolz.

I went to school every time it was that day, I don't see why I'll change now. And btw, don't take advantage of the terror that happened on that day so that you can be excused from 7 hours of education on one day.

oh yea, and you shouldn't skip school for that. Skipping school for Sept. 11 is just an excuse to get out of school and you are using the event for your own benefit, which is not right.

I personally even went to school the day it happened. We shouldn't let it affect us like that and need to stand strong as a nation. And why should this year be any different?

i don't think i'm gonna do it. i've already honored and thought about the people that died. and no...teachers aren't gonna leave, the have to stay that whole day, or they dont get paid. and besides would the people that died want us to skip school?

 

Do new yorkers have school on the 11th im not too sure.

 

That's the day my school starts, but I am not going since there is no point (Only one hour for the upperclassmen)

Don't take advantage of the fact people died. I went to school the day it happened, and I have been to school every 9/11 since then. Yes, it was a tragedy, but what would not going to school prove? Nothing, except a bunch of kids want an extra day to play video games or something.

I totally disagree with you. Ok, yes, what happen was tragic and horrible, but what about all the other "anniversaries" of any tragic date. Why don't we get June 6th off? Why don't parents get Aug 6th and 9th off?

Instead of skipping school, spend some extra time with your English teacher.
