Site Rippers & Replicators

Hai hai guys, ive been a member at CodedFX for a long time (1399 posts :/) and Gareth has been caught ripping, now i know you think he should be burnt at the stake, casterated etc. Well please try to consider a few things before you cut off his lucky charms, when starting up a new site, you need members, he put alot of cash into this with the licence, hosting etc etc. He needed the render pack to get members and make it a success. Which he did. He musr have been desperate for this,he is still a good guy, helps people, and is generally a nice person. So before you be too harsh on him, just think about how he just wanted his site to be a success. (oh and about the template, he just copied the colors, and a bit of the layout, but made it all himself.)

but he still did it. he should have waited a month and rendered ---- on his own... he might be helpful on his own site and all but think of all the people he hurt over here with STEALING there renders? They should do with him what they damn well please. Just my thoughts

ima just state the obvious and yes it is. it is still a rip... no matter what it seems.

He thinks it's "borrowing" and I find it funny how he's yet to have replied about anything.
Edit:: He just left the topic without replying, which proves his guiltiness and that the site should stay on the blacklist, BFTP I apologize for asking you to take the site of the list, just forget it, even if he does apologize.

 

So has he replied to anything yet?? I think he should at least apologise, and admit he did it, instead of ignoring everyone.

Created a new one, and its still there suprisingly. Though he hasn't respond to either.

i got a question about ripping, but its more about templates than renders. if u see a really good site u like and make ur own, without copy and pasting and stuff, like it, is it still ripping?

 

@nomu- Well, not technically as long as it still looks different but only with the same ideas. But it is frowned upon.

Well, I think that he should stop reading and post, I bet it is scared because we all know he rips along with our proof.

 

well then he didnt rip a template.
he posted a ss of it in photoshop once, with the layers n crap, and it didnt even look too much like what he was inspired from, so imo he didnt rip that.

about the renders, I guess he did.. I personnally wouldnt go to an extent of public humiliation for ripping renders, but what the admins do her is their choice.

 

you guys need to grow up. bftp. why do you care if gareth rips or not. why does it bother everyone so much. and its not a "ripping site" there are plenty of rippers here. so GR MUST be a "ripping site" to.
