he posted a ss of it in photoshop once, with the layers n crap, and it didnt even look too much like what he was inspired from, so imo he didnt rip that.

Yes, there are rippers here but we at least try to get rid of them and are not under control by one.

The fact of the matter is, Gareth Ripped. He knew what he was doing was wrong. He was asked to stop. He didn't. He got embarrased and I hope his site gets blacklisted. That is tons of rips!

Honestly I don't see how people can defend him or help him moderate his forums.

 

most people (mods) didnt know it until this thread. and they are loyal to the site they mod for i dont blame them for doing what they can to not destroy the site.

Topic re-opened. Spent most of last night responding to CodedFX's staff, who has agreed Gareth did rip.

Instead of facing it head on, Gareth has deleted 3 topics regarding the matter - one that had the Head Moderator's support, and most of the moderators responses in it.

to get back on a few posts up, if you are overinspired it doesnt matter if you have the psd or not or wether you recreated the entire thing, i sell templates, and say i take my price at $60, somebody takes a screenshot of it and remakes it EXACTLY without direct copy + pasting from the screenshot. they will offer it for $50. this will scare off the buyers and leave me with nothing while i did all the work, while the dude that recreated it has no own inspiration or creativity and is rewarded by in my opinion RIPPING.

And so to mix in this argument or whatever...you shouldnt rip but when people wanting to take legal actions against someone for claiming to have made a specific render...is just wierd since the person who first rendered the pic is also in someway doing something that hasnt been approved by the creator of the original pic. So chill down with the legal actions.

 

6th topic deleted, on the 7th for CodedFX. They still have the ripped renders in their gallery, and he has yet to confess or even apologize for anything.

He did rip the template, it wasn't imspiration it was a rip. I matched up ceratin parts of the layout to the original and it matched pixel two pixel.

@BFTP im surprised he hasn't ip banned you yet, he doesn't like people challenging it seems
