Simple Question... Please Help

Alright I just ran into a little problem today, how the F**K do I make a 3d object, the reason why I ask is cause I would like to design my own crate for my lastest template and i ran into the problem that i duno how to make its 3d can some please help me or direct me to a tutorial thanks..

 

it depends what object you're talking about

 

using cinema 4d will help u probably, but like he sed above ^^ it depends what object you wanna make

 

I wanna make a box like a crate =)

 

you'd have to model it, and since you don't take classes for that stuff like the people that do it, don't even mess around with it.

If you wanna model a crate start by modelling nails and wood lol

 

that has to be the worst advice i've ever heard. I play around with 3d programs and do mainly abstract and I have yet to take a single class on it. Besides, half of the 3d pieces I see on this site are so simple, you wouldn't need to take classes anyway. I doubt half, if any of these people take 3d design classes.

on a side note, I may take some classes in the future if I decide to change over to the Game Design program at ITT-Tech... working an IT degree first...
