Signature Space

I tried to add a gift into my sig and it popped up, its realyl getting anoying :|

 

Check to see how many characters you have used as there is a set amount at 10000 i believe

 

Stan .... People deleted everything on their signature and still happen ....

 

I don't know I still see all your signatures there...try pm'in LLamaman as I had the same problem before, just got the same error you guys are getting..just tested to see if it was just some or whole forum

I think people have tried almost everything, I know i've tried replacing my sig sizes, image formats, signature length - nothing is working

 

Damn, I'm getting the same error and I'm trying to put only some user bars

The problem has been fixed, though the amount of content that you put in your signatures has been limited to prevent them taking up most of people's screens. A message has been placed next to the signature editing form to describe what rules your signature must conform to:

 

Well good >.< Make only maximum 10 images for premium members

mine's coming up as

One or more of the images in your signature is too large(filesize), the maximum size is 100kb.

all these restrictions are making it so you can't have anything but a little fan tag in your sig. How the hell are you supposed to have a sig less then 100kb? There's too many damned restrictions here, i already had to take out the promo banner for my site, and my fan tag! :censored:

 

I'm having problems too, I was trying to replace an old sig of mine with a new one.

The error returned was:

Your signature contains too many lines. Maximum allowed is 5.

I think I already have more than 5 lines anyways lol.

I even tried to remove things and still got this error.

 

Taking a look at your red signature, if you were to save it in photoshop and save it with a slightly lower image quality, it will look exactly the same, but the file size will be much less than 100kb.

The reason that restriction is in place is because some people have slower internet connections on the forum. Think how long multiple 150kb image files would take to load on 56k.

A line counts as every time you press enter in your signature edit space. This rule is done to prevent people having massive signatures that take up half the screen and are an annoyance to everyone except the person that has the signature.

 

mm but it m8 be better to have more than 5 lines...

why don't you control the size of each pic and if the size of all pics in the sig is to large it would be disalowed...

i'll show you with a user i've created only for this test... i never use it in any other topic so don't be angry.... i only want to show you an little bug that doesn't appear if you'll allow more lines but only a sig where all pictures only 500x400 pixel ...
