Signature Limits

lllAE86lll's sig takes up my whole screen (1024x768) which is pretty annoying. I'd say max of 250 px height, although i still think it should be around 200 (i have it also on my own site).

 

Exactly what I mean because I don't want to see just signatures when I am scrolling through a Website Template Forum.

 

I don't really care about seeing signatures so I turn them off in my preferences screen. I think it is a person's right to wear signatures as long as they want, and if you don't like it, then turn them off. It also saves on loading time for images that do absolutely nothing. (Of course, it is particularly nice in posts with images in them, like the Battle Arena, Tutorials, Your Stuff, etc...)

 

You can turn off viewing sigs and avatars.

lol its crazy theres one guy who's got 50000 characters in his sig, all of Lorem Ipsum filler text....

"Do you wish to view members signatures when reading topics?" -> No

I turned off signatures after 3 days here. =P

 

I like seeing sigs, but I think the generally accepted rule around here is four standard size sigs. If GR could just enforce that, that would be fine.

 

Yeah I thought of 4 standard size signatures side to side. So it would go like this. Also ban paid advertisements.
