No, I have DSL High speed connection. I only have trouble with my connection when I see people with like 4-5 sigs. It makes the page longer and the computer having to think more, therefore, making the loading slower.
i can load all the sigs in seconds, no clue wat dsl is but i use sympatico high speed (canadien w00t!)

if you have dial up then use the option of not seeing signatures and/or avi's.... of course that defeats some of the purpose of GR but still...you can always just do that
2 month delay over replies...... ouch! sigs sizes, i use 350*120. always have and will. Small enough, but good for all aroound.
