 I was just saying pick out your favorites cause there seems to be a lot.

    Good luck FTWraith. [/b][/quote]
but in all reality it would be pretty pointless
what i may find useful you may not its always best to research yourself no matter how hard it is or what you have to do to get there
your only become more sufficient in the end and learn what you personally wanna learn in stead of what everyone else is doing

Frankly, part of me wish things were free, but in reality nothing comes for free. So, yeah, I believe in the tutorial makers' rights to sell it, as long as it is really good as it is their techniques and their originality that brings gfx to the next level.

i can see reasons for both, on one hand it is helping and learning and so should be free, but on another college makes you buy your own textbooks to learn...

Sure, some tuts should be givin out for free, but some can be sold aswell. If the person(author) spends alot of time, and effort, and finds it very helpfull, then why not sell?

    Heres an example...
Theres many tuts on the net about programing, C++ for example, but theres also books being sold teaching C++. So, sure, some tutorials should be free, some should be sold.
What I hate most is people who make a tut with hardly any explanation, and sell it.... then release for free especially.

Anyways, I only sell 1 tut on G.R, my future ones will be free though, if I make.

    Let's see...

Magnesium is right. Some tuts are better off free because they lack quality, but some can be sold if authorized by the author AND that tutorial is of a high quality. ^_^

I think they should only be sold if they are video tuts or advanced ones.

I think they should be free, but people should donate to people more often for giving free tutorials away.

I dont really care either way - It is up to the person who makes the tutorial. I usually give mine out for free, I just sold one to get some credits for website coding. And most of the time the tutorials aren't worth buying anyways. ^_^
