I'm not a Wii owner but my good friend has one and he brings it over all the time

Does it have wireless internet? Yes
Do games go online? There are a couple games that do
Can you browse the internet? Yes
Does it cost money to browse the internet? Nope
Can you do things like watch youtube videos on the internet? Yes
Does it make Gamecube games looks better? Not really
Whats the motion sensor bar like? It's a little tiny bar you set under your TV...its pretty good but placement is everything!
How are the graphics? Honestly, they are horrible...but the games are more focused with fun rather than looks
Is it sluggish? Not really...it has pretty smooth gameplay
How are the loading times? That really depends on the game, there are pauses here and there but nothing that isnt bearable.
Is the console heavy? Not at all
Are the controllers a hassle? They aren't that bad
How long do the batteries last? Not sure
Can you sit down and play or do you have to stand? You can sit depending on where you put the sensor bar...but for some games its harder to do
Are the Wii game discs as small as the Gamcube ones? No they are regular size
Is Wii sports even good? It is for the first few games, then it gets old

    No. Regular Sized.

    Is Wii sports even good?

    Wii sports is amazing.

    My top recomended games -

Trauma Center - Second Oppinion (You operate on patients and stuff , its epic)

Legend of Zelda ; Twilight Princess (Classic Zelda..)

The BIGS - Crazy baseball with tackling and amazing plays. (Slow motion wall climbs. etc)

Resident Evil 4 - Wii edition - An awesome shooter, the controls are excellent and you won't be able to stop playing it.

Metroid Prime - An insane sci-fi FPS, very fun.

I would reserve\get when released : Super Smash Brothers : Brawl , and Mario Kart Wii (Working title) , Guitar Hero 3.

I >HIGHLY< recommend this system over the others.

    On the internet issue;

I'm browsing and posting from my Wii right now, lol! It supports YouTube videos, but it doesn't work with stuff that needs Flash 8 or over...Still, the internet is pretty fast, and is now compatible with a USB Keyboard (which I don't have, so I use the Wii remote x_x).

Wii Points - Wii points are the points you use to download games of the Market, they have games ranging from systems like the NES to systems like The Genisis , Turbo Grafx and N64. You can also download "Wii Ware" things like, the internet, World-Wide Poll Channels , etc.

If by main controller panel you mean "Main Menu" It's a simple menu with 48 slots for anything you download. From here you can access the Internet, Mii Chanel , Everybody Votes Chanel ,The News, The Weather, your Current inserted game, your message board, your Wii system settings, and any Classic Games or Wii Ware previews you have downloaded.

Profiles on the Wii are simply called Mii's , they are miniatures of yourself or your friends ,you can use them to send messages to eachother with the message board, or even use them in some games (Wii sports.)

If by customization you mean the system itself, or graphics wise?

You can purchase skins and covers for the Wii and Wii Motes itself. And it has been rumored that you will be able to download different color schemes for the Wii System Menu in the future.

blackmagyk basically got it, except for the graphics part. Wii's graphics are slightly better than Xbox's, not PS2s. Gamecube's graphics were slightly better than PS2's and Xbox had an edge on GCN so Wii's graphics are a lot better than PS2s and significantly better than GCNs.

you cant compare screens of PS2/Wii games. theyre the same engine, so it has to be made for PS2's limitations.

It didn't at one point, but now it costs Wii points.
Can you do things like watch youtube videos on the internet?
    Yes.
Does it make Gamecube games looks better?
    A bit, yes.
Whats the motion sensor bar like?
Just a small bar to fit on the top or on the bottom of you TV.
    How are the graphics?
Decent. The playstyle is alot more important than the graphics.
    Is it sluggish?
    No
    How are the loading times?
Depends on what game. I know that Redsteel has slower loading screens, when all the others were fast.

    Nope.

You can sit down, and sometimes it makes it easier.

    No, bigger. And better.
    Is Wii sports even good?
Even good? It's great! I find myself playing it every day, just for fun.

Nope. You can buy them at local stores like Wal-Mart. They come on a card with a code, kind of like ITunes money.

Does it make Gamecube games looks better?slightly but only due to improved AA and AF techniques on the GPU. you'de need to compare direct screen shots and look at them for a while to tell the difference. Also frame rate is higher.
Whats the motion sensor bar like?
How are the graphics? comparable to that of an ATi Radeon x700... namely a midrange video card from 2004.

Is it sluggish? from what I hear not at all. With the wii the emphasis is overwhelmingly on game play so improved visuals physics and AI take the back seat.
