Been awhile since i've gave a larger idea or suggestion to GameRenders, so this one is free of charge  The problem with the inflation of credits(4,000 credits for $18 USD, a record low :/) is the following statistics taken from the shop itself: Total On hand Credits in circulation: 1,267,418 credits. vs Total Worth of Store: 4,325 credits. Now, some are thinking..holy ----, thats a large number. Lets look at it this way: Since theirs 1,872,815 post, thats one credit per topic/post/and poll posted. Polls don't count as post when you vote in them, but do count towards credits. You use to get 5 credits per click on affiliate button, then two, now none..and we only have 1,200,000 credits total - that number doesn't look so small now. Not to mention the 150,000 credits or so Dave added to the GR economy  Solution: Better store items. Oh, sure..thats all fine & dandy and very easy to say. We can add 150 store items, but if nobody buys them, we have wasted time. My suggestions for possible store changes: Raise the price of Advertisement to 750 credits, and make it 15,000 page impressions(and stock it). Lower Change your own title to 250 credits change Free Invision forum Mod installation to Coding & Invision forum Mod installation & the price to 800 credits. This will be done by two staff members. Change Free web hosting to 'Paid Web Hosting!' and change the date to 3 months, price to 500 credits. Stock a single Unban user item Add the 'Create-A-Item' item..details: For a small fee, you can create your own item and sell whatever you wish(within limits). You can choose the price(limit to be set), and the stock limit(max limit set here). Rather it be a evil effect, or a item or service from yourself. 25% of each item sold will be given to the author. The catch is: the item has to be sold out before you get your credits, making you have to manage to set a reasonable price and 'limit' on the item. Ability to have a image rendered by Render Staff for a set price Ability to have a tutorial made(which will be posted in GameRenders) on any style you wish, created by GameRenders Staff(tutorial gurus) Add a smiley to the board(Upload Emoticon) Pinnable auction for up to one week(250 credits?) A forum section of your own(within limits) on GameRenders, for temporary use. (up to one month) - 2,500 credits. Events, etc. You could also charge 'rent' for people, and possibly even offer this as a REDIRECT LINK for sites to advertise with. The goal is to increase the overall value & interest of the GameRenders Store, and take out credits in the economy. In return, we would be able to offer a 2% interest in the bank, but that would come with a stiff 25% withdrawing fee, and a 5% depositing fee. So your looking at a 'long-term' investment. BFTP
This new post is much easier to understand, really like all the ideas... it would be great to be taking some credits out of the economy
yeah i really like the ideas, i was thinking the shp needs more items just yesterday when i was looking around to buy something. This will be a good way of getting more credits out the system. Gj with the post and ideas
I think the render staff is pretty pointless, nobody will pay to render anymore.. too many people running around doing it for free. Everything else sounds good.
Either raise the prices, add more items, or give some credits to me You can add maybe password to downloads section, and then add a download section.
i like the ideas bftp, you need some way to get credits out of the forum before you can start dumping them in with interest
All these items are possible, with a small amount of work for the admin involved. For example, they would have to create the forum, and global moderators would have to pin/unpin the auctions. BFTP
Very nice BFTP. If i had not restarted my account i would definately +Rep you for this nice suggestions!
I'm thinking the uplaod smily wouldna be a good idea. Just aimage how many smilies there'd be on GR then.
There is a shop mod thats php nuke, it holds stuff like "Buy a sig made by Mcbeat" and you post your own items....Maybe a GR shop and then a Service shop? (More info for it PM me.)
