@ShneakySquirrel: I like the uniqueness of the render and the choice. I think its a bit choppy around the pipes or tentacles or whatever it is(but it may be my bad eyes).

@Xarth:Definitely premium. I can't find anything wrong with it. I do like how you rendered the particles though.

You guys really make this difficult but I'm leaning toward ShneakySquirrel because it means the qualities of Usability, Uniqueness, Difficulty, render choice and size(its not to big or to small).

Xarth your render meets the qualities of Usability, Uniqueness, Difficulty, and Render Choice. It doesn't meet the criteria of size because its a bit to big. You could of taken the time to put it on a smaller bg.

So from that small difference I vote for ShneakySquirrel.

    @ShneakySquirrel
Defenetly a great render choice it makes it look like it was hard to do and I'm sure it was I don't think it is the best usability on the renderthough it is defently a premium cut I think the size is pretty perfect although iut is not a major factor overall Great Render
    @Xarth
Another great render choice I really like how well the glows are rendered it is a big render which gets some plus points from me and the usability is greater than sneaky's it looks about the same difficulty as sneaky's.
Overall they are both great renders and were extremely hard to do but I would have to vote for Xarth the glows are rendered amazingly it has a bit more usability than sneaky's although they are both very great.

Well shneaky I gotta say this that cuts hard I know cause I have done it already. but the probably is that its not highly useable. behind the black scenes its really good.
Xarth that's really good buddy I gotta hand it you youve done every glow in a detailed manner I was surprised how you pulled that.
    I vote for Xarth.

Your render has a great cut, not very large however. It could be used for some things, but is not very practical. The cut is really outstanding though, the immense attention to detail is amazing.

    Xarth
This render is great, very large - which is good. It can be used for lots of stuff - web graphics, sigs, banners, wallpapers, etc. and I like it alot. The cut is great as well, and it's very well-detailed.

    MY VOTE GOES TO...:
    XARTH!

Great job guys, keep it up!

    Happy New Year!

man this is the hardest vote yet !!

    Shneaky Squirrel:

Looks like it was extremly hard to render, great size, very nice cut, very usable in a gfx/sig.

    Xarth:

That look extremly hard to render!! very nice clean cut, great size very usable !!

Ok well you both did great renders !! and this all comes down to wich one I myself would have less difficulty making something nice with, so with that said...

    I vote for

    Xarth

Both looks very good, but Shneaky's seems like it was difficult/took time to make, and I notice that he/she spent time on it.

Xarth's has a outline wich I don't like, and you could of put the render on a smaller bg, so I didn't have to scroll three pages down, however, my vote goes to ShneakySquirrel, because its unique, useable in sigs and its very well done.

If I were to lose, I would be glad that I am going to lose to THIS render. That is one hell of a render, and the way he did it was amazing.

So far it is 2-5 Xarth.

If you lose, do you go up against the loser in the losers bracket? And so there will be the best of the best losers, and the best of the best winners...

I'm kinda confused on that lol.

Kazuya agreed on me being a temporary judge.

Everything is explained from my point of view, so If I am referring to right or left-side, it will be our right or left.

    ShneakySquirrel

    1st thought
    - What the heck is that?!

    Mistakes
    - a lot of outlining around the tubes, and I don’t mean the light, but the actual outline
    - cut-off parts on some of the tubes

    Positive
    - Pretty difficult picture
    - Mediocre size

    Negative
    - very much detail, that will fade away in a sig

    Xarth:

    1st thought
    - Where is the picture??.. Oh, there it is.

    Mistakes
    - the notch on his hair, could be a lot smoother
    - choppyness on the left shoulder
    - choppyness around the right hip

    Positive
    - Very nice work with the energy-glow
    - Good size

    Negative
    - The picture doesn’t look so smooth at some parts

My vote goes to Xarth, because his picture looks nicer, and is bigger, so that the mistakes will fade away when used.

if you a better explanation containing pictures, please pm me, and add link to original, render and my own comment.

Sorry used your format LA - Its good thats why using it [I hope you dont mind :( ]

I kno its your hardest render :)

    Mistakes
    - I can see some irregular cuttting of the tubes - not very much but visible to me :)

    Positive
    - Very difficult picture to cut due to the shear amounts of tubes
    - Decent size to use in WP or Sigs

    Negative
    - Extensive amounts of detail which wont be shown as a result
    - FIne tubes when resized will dissappear and would be used less often due to the theme & colours

    Xarth:

    1st thought
    - Where is the picture??.. Oh, there it is. [ Leaving that commment i thought the same] :D
    - Humungous picture
    - Some wasted parts and could have been cropped

    Mistakes
    - The hair is too straight ie Jagged
    - Left shoulder choppy slightly

    Positive
    - The energy particles and energy parts are very smooth/must have taken ages feathering etc
    - Humungous size
    - Can be used widely due to the vibrant colours and enerby dust

    Negative
    - Some parts jagged & choppy [not too great]
    - Could have been cropped ;)

My vote goes to [Drum beats] .... Sorry Mr.Shneaky & Nuts

    ...Xarth</span>

Due to the size and dust complexity - Making them appear thorugh the BG :) The shear amount of vibrant and smoothness of the colours - Humungous in size so when resized the choppyness would have disappeard

    <span style=\'color:yellow\'>2-7 to Xarth

I love you too :) Great renders

Shneaky Squirrel: Not the smoothest of renders, choppy in places, but overall a good cut. bit small and not too usable

Xarth: The overall cut of the person isnt good atall tbh but the recreation of the glow is outstanding and makes up for it, nice size and highly usable.

Xarth has my vote - Very close though.

Intresting to see how these 2 renderers compete furthur having used i think their best renders on the first stage.

Both are very well cut renders

Shneaky : your render is very unique and well cut but its a medium size and doesn't have many uses except maybe a sig or banner

Xarth : very nice render and very well cut, the render is huge and has practical purposes in sigs, wallpapers or banners

Xarth gets my vote due to usability and size, nice job both of you.
