When we are looking for new staff, we lean towards helpful people who can be beneficial to the site, we DONT however, choose people based on their status and popularity. We only have GR's future and members in mind. We recommend someone and staff gets their say on yes or no. I look at the persons posts, where they are and what they say to make my call. I dont want someone coming in representing us and them making the GR staff as a whole look foolish. I have been here a while, I know you and I know 90% of the original staff mambers, I think GR is evolving as all boards do, yet there will always be members who are here for other reasons than to help others grow as a community should. I think it is sad, yet such is life. If you think that we are biased on our decisions, you can always PM Llama/Dave, they are still around, yet not as often due to their education always coming first.
Hmmm....people are annoyed by Shaggy who actually had the balls to replace/help Llama,and has to pay tons of $ a month to keep this community alive...fascinating indeed...
