it's better to teach it early, then too late. you know, kids can ruin their lives, if they're not educated about it.

Teaching kids to use protection/handing out condoms like candy isn't the answer. That's basically saying it's alright to do, and that a condom will keep you completely and 100% safe.

Why do you think they didn't let Bill Clinton have free condoms in public restrooms? It just gives off the wrong signal.

Well, techniquely 4th graders wouldn't need to learn sex ed but then if they see sex somewhere like the internet or something then they wouldn't know what's going on and be scarred for life.

Scarred for life  Im sure I had seen pr0n by then and was hardly scarred for life. I dont think it needs to be taught early I remember we got a talk about puberty around 4th or 5th grade ( In US terms ) however I live in the UK but really they tip-toed around anything that would be usefull. It was more like "You will go through changes" and I remember not really understanding why we had a talk on it. Earlier the better to be honest.

Personally I dont think there is anything wrong with kids knowing how to make babies perhaps around age 10-11 dont teach them not to have sex just tell them the facts and let them decide. Thats one thing I hate about the education system they are always trying to persuade you. Just give them the facts and let them make their own choices. Remember "JUST SAY NO !" is about as usefull as telling someone who is clinically depressed to "Cheer up"

There is nothing wrong with sex just teach kids what will happen if they do get pregnant/get an STI.

    SAY NO to Drugs
    SAY NO to Alcohol
    SAY NO to sex

or anything else that is fun
