The concept of a touch screen was pretty sweet, but it was obvious this would probably fail its also not that much of a memory upgrade in my opinion lawl text messaging..... the only necessary use in my personal opinion is if someone has taken you hostage, bound your hands behind your back and your mouth is gagged, but you can manage to reach the phone they just haven't noticed you have..... and you can text like matt damon from the departed
wow this dudes a advertiser, read his opening sentences on all topics then read the first few sentences and then they all link to some amazon site
Apple is just gonna come out with version after version after version.. and apple lovers with probably buy every one of them under the belief that they are getting a good deal. Little do they know that they are being ripped off beyond belief... It's probably even in Apple's mission statement . yes.. I can see it now: "Thou shalt rip off thy customer..."

Text messaging is great if you want to multi-task. It's quite hard to hold you phone and say, type, at the same time. Speakerphone would solve this if everyone else in the room couldn't hear you. :\ Besides, if you need to carry on multiple conversations at once, texting is the way to go. Please, conference calling? Give me a break.
??? I don't get what you're saying... cellphone manufacturers have been pushing conference calling for years now... it's not a new feature. Also, conference calling works fine. I do it with clients all the time.
lol ive had mine for a while now. ive dropped it 3 times. still no damage at all to it. and one of the drops was when i walked into my bathroom texting and i dropped it, as i dropped it i hit it in the air right into the wall it then fell down hit right off an edge to some marble. All it done was glitch the text i was sending until i reboot it because it just refused to send it lol. but after that it was perfectly fine again. the phone is very robust
What a non-biased and non-ignorant view. I've got a first generation iPhone, from the month they first came out, I'm anything but an Apple fan, heck, the phone is the first apple product I've ever owned. But it's got great games, great application, it's really not as expensive as that site says and the whole dropping it + it cracks thing is rubbish. My phone's taken a lot of abuse and there's barely a mark on it, whoever took that photo clearly took a hammer to it.
You're the man right there! I own both the 2G and 3G iPhone, I love the 2G more though as its got a better base band IMO and the signal connections are slightly better than the 3G one. Whatever you said is right and just to add to it some of the applications the iPhone has come in VERY VERY handy such as a weDICT (Oxfords Advanced Learning Dictionary), MxTube (Download Youtube Videos), Converter (An all in one converter which is mostly used to convert currencies and megabytes), Flashlight (Very powerful white light that helped me when I was stuck in the desert with my friend and we fixed some problem in his engine using the Flashlight to see whats wrong).. And the list goes on, the iPhone is just perfect oh and I forgot to mention that I always watch all my TV Shows on the iPhone (currently finished Season 3 for Two and a Half Men, My Name is Earl and Family Guy).. A wonderful thing and that is the Apple iPhone! <3
