Coming from someone who watched a movie every Friday or every other, Seven Pounds is one of my favorites of the year.
Agreed it is also one of my favorites. I'm not usually into these genres of movies, but the movie itself is great and definitely worth the money to see.
I can't believe RT gave it something like 29%. I haven't seen it but I can without a doubt say if it's anything like Happyness then it's definitely a worthy movie. I am dying to see this and I love Will Smith as an actor.
same MP i saw it tonight was hard to follow at the start but once in the middle it got really interesting!
Will Smith/Ben Thomas and his fiance/wife are driving on the road and his cell phone receives a text (he's a workaholic) and when he reads the text his car goes into the other lane and"collides with one or two other cars. The accident kills the other people and his wife totaling to 7 people referencing to the title "7 pounds" which is also a Shakespearean phrase. He feels guilty about it and so he impersonates his brother as an IRS Agent to find people he deems worthy of what he is going to do which is save their lives by sacrificing his own so they can have his body parts.
DON'T READ THAT ^^^^ UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING. Anyways... it's a great movie. I saw it before it was released. hmmm.
A critic from The New York Times gave it an F, which brang it to a C+ otherwise it would have been a B+ or an A-...disgusting.
that scene was beatifull .. with the jellyfish, looks so cool but the movie is very nice .. will smith is a great actor and he shows his amazing acting skills on this one alot VERY good storyline btw,
You really need to quit basing your decisions to see movies on what critics say. Especially RT; they're the absolute worst!
