When I go on high RAM applications it shuts my computer down and comes up with an error saing PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA i mean wtf?! anyone know how I can fix this 'cause its stopping me from makin any siggys
Sounds like faulty ram or device driver. Check the system event log. Control Panel -> Adminstrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> System.
I found it its got 2,518 events most of them are "Information" but loads of them are "Error" aswell i got quite a few "Warning" too.
I have alot of software that fixes errors such as this, it ya got MSN i can send you it and stuff (i never said warez or anyhting) its fixed alot of errors that i have on my PC. Hope i can help you. It wont fix faults like faulty RAM or anything, it will fix errors.
I'm getting a guy from PC World to come 2 my house and try 2 fix my PC i hope it will work, he's gonna replace the Graphics Card and RAM, so I won't get that software your talkin about. I hope he will fix my computer *fingers crossed*
i suggets buying new + more ram. 512 might not cut it considering the amount of memory photoshop takes up alone
There is also Memtest86 that can test your RAM for you and tell you of the errors. Just goole it, download it, burn it to cd, restart with CD in drive and let it run for a few hours. You will com eback and see a report of all the bad sectors of RAM that you have. If you have a large amoutn i would replace it.
