Sites like Gamerenders work fine, I can fly through gamerenders with no downtime. However, Ask.com and Yahoo.com won't even load up. When I go on google.com, it'll load up the homepage quick enough but as soon as I do a search it doesn't load anything.

Been happening for a few days, any help appreciated. ^^

Deviantart also doesn't work, and when I go on a image hosting website (Imageshack etc.) and click Browse to open up my folders, nothing happens the button just, clicks. This isn't a FF problem, since it happens in Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer.

PS : GP, what internet provider are you with?

Ring your ISP for service status.

It's not that, my laptop can handle google and the likes fine, it just seems to be affecting my PC.

Restore...what? My PC on the whole? Because I re-installed windows what, 4 days ago.

PS : Google search works if I use a proxy.

It's been for these past 4 days. (Google not working with proxies anymore).

So I assume it's something I've downloaded that I didn't have before, (but there isn't anything) or an error with my windows installation?

Edit : Google IS working with proxies, but very slow.

have you tried different browsers? Reset modem/router. Try running spyware/malware/AV programs and see if they find anything. Only other thing it could be is ISP is having a problem.

Either that or you have to reinstall windows or get your Internet line REFRESHED by your ISP provider's technical department.

I don't see how it can be an IP problem, since it's not affecting any other PC in the house, or laptop. RA, I've run several Anti-Virus/Spyware programs and they've turned up nothing and aye like I said, I've tried 3 different browsers
