I think GR is confused over what abstract means... Abstract isn't just OMG C4D SPAM LOLOLOLOLOL. There's a stock in that tag. Stocks can be used in Abstract tags, heck, so could a render. Correct me if I'm wrong Draven but surely a render in an abstract tag (ala not realism etc.) is still an Abstract tag? Take Virtuoso's current for example, has a render, yet I'd still call it abstract. And realism tags aren't actually realistic. And vector tags generally aren't actual vectors. And minimalism tags generally aren't minimalistic. It's not based directly on the dictionary definition, it's a style, it's a trend. C4D lends itself to Abstract -very- well so who the hell cares if people use it? Jimmy, that's who. But no one cares about Jimmy.

People have been doing it forever, look at the majority of sigs that aren't Realism, they're abstract. Heck I posted one in the AG Thread, Virtu's is. My current is. CONFIRMATION REQUIRED <3

Okay, I'm finding this theme rather vague and I'm not all that sure what is classed as Abstract. I don't like relying on C4D, as I'm not good enough at the program yet to make my own and feel cheap by basing an entire tag around someone elses. From reading above, I get the impression that we can use stocks and renders as long as the outcome isn't realism?? I'm finding myself drawing blanks everytime I open a sig sized canvas.
Well no, not realism purely because realism/abstract don't mix. Still has to be "Abstract" might be time to suck up your pride and nab somebody's C4Ds.
