The topic says it at, I have a screwy wireless internet connection that I really don't understand. Heres the issue, both me and my dad can be on our laptops at the same time on the web but if my mom wants to use the home computer which the router and everything is hooked to can she still go on it while both my and my dad are on our laptops? That is the one question i get everyday from my parents and i don't know the answer, thus i have to here to ask for help. Oh and another thing every time me or my dad want to use the wireless connection the home computer must be turned off then we have to reset the modem. I don't understand that at all.

Any help would be very appreciated as its getting on my last nerve <_<

Not likely. Most ISPs only let 2 or 3 computers on the internet at once, mines 3, but I only have 2 computers, however, it gets annoying yes. You'll have to take turns like children.

i was just about to say, also when ever my friends are over which theres normally 4-5 of them including me on our laptops and its fine. But i don't understand what the problem is because i have had the same problem with both this router(D-Link) and the last(Linksys).
