I'm looking for a screenshot utility like fraps that can take an image in any size I want. example: Game X is running on 1024 x 768, but the screenshot taken is 1600 x 1200. i dont want to simply resize the graphics since a lot of details are lost and the image looks damn ugly. sadly i want a few high res screenshots, but my computer cant handle more than 1024 :( any idea?

tried hypersnap and xfire now, but none of them did the job properly :( im not even sure if there is a software that actually does this...

in doom 3 for example, you can bind a key to screenshot and add this:

    ... screenshot 4000 5000

the numbers define the size of the output-image. when you now press this key, doom captures the different areas (which are then flashing over the screen) and puts them back together into one large file. sadly not all games support this technique :( and so im asking myself if there is an application that does it this way too - without just resizing the image until it has reached the wanted size.
