Screen Resolution Help

    I was workin on Photoshop and all of a sudden the screen expanded...any idea how to fix this, my size for the sig is 330 x 110 but it looks so humungous and it is rgb and 8 bit, image attached

    *It's not just to PS, it's my whole windows OS*

    Any ideas or sugguestions would be greatly appreciated and i wasn't able to find a similar problem when i searched...there's was just PS mine is the whole OS from windows

    right click desktop>properties>settings and you see the slider? slide it about and apply it and see what suits u :D

    if you have a 15" monitor it would probably be 1024x768


    but just test about with it :D.

    right click desktop > select properties > then settings tab > change screen resolution to a diferent type (e.g. 1204x768 to 800x600 ) then change it back again. see if that helps

    I have done it and that is showing up as a 800 x 600 resolution, when i change resolutions parts of the desktop icons get cut off

    Maybe, your GFX drivers glitches and changed your res. Change by right clicking desktop, and go to properties, and appearance...

    I have already done it and yes it was a glitch...i also logged off and logged back on but still the resolution has not changed, any ideas why it would have glitched?

    I would say try re-installing the drivers for the gfx card, or get em updated...

    No, you just will have a really big screen. I've done it before...

    it's just a driver, not hardware. uninstall it, and/or install the new driver. should patch it up nicely. you have nothing to use.

    I get this error message when i try to install:

    The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.

    vesion i have 6.14.0010.5673 and the chip type is rivia tnt2 model 64/model 64 pro

    you have to download the drivers, you know. and if they are in a zip or rar file, you must extract them

    they are not in a zip...can you get me the exact link i need? Thanks for all the help so far
