Ok, I didn't see this anywhere so if there is I am sorry lol. Anyways here it is:

Start off by making a new document (3x3 pixels) with a transpatent background
    [IMG]

Now grab yoru pencil tool and put it to size 1px
    [IMG]

Right now I am zoomed in to 1600% Now draw any kind of pattern you want, here are 3 very common patterns::DRAW THESE IN WHITE I AM IN RED SO THAT THE PATTERN IS VISIBLE!!!!!!!::

Now go to Edit>Define Pattern and call it whatever you want
    [IMG]

Now take out the paint bucket tool and change it to Pattern
    [IMG]

Now choose your pattern that you want to use
    [IMG]

Now simply use your paintbucket tool like regular but instead of a solid forground....you will get scanlines!!

This is a simple yet effective way to spice up any sig. I hope this helped somebody. +rep and +cred appreciated if deserved but not if someone else has already done this lol
