" ______ The only things that gave it away for me was that the site was www.10gbhotmail.tk (biggest one), it was from an Unknown Sender, usually it will say Official Mailing and I get news from Windows Live Messenger not MSN Hotmail. I'm just wondering how they would go about getting a [email protected] email adress.
easy, there's programs out there that can give you a fake email address, a (cloak) if you will, using STMP servers.
For me what gave it away was 'there'. The correct phrase would be 'their'. 'Their email account space', not 'There email account space.' Silly scammers.
^Yeah, just noticed that before too. "easy, there's programs out there that can give you a fake email address, a (cloak) if you will, using STMP servers. " Didn't know that, would explain why a reputable hosting company asked my uncle for a fax of both sides of his credit card to be sent to that adress by email lol.
I was just going to point that out - nice eye. Most of the time scammers do not use proper spelling/punctuation. I've gotten these countless times, don't see why they waste their time sending these out.
Yeah phishing is no0bie but still if you have the latest web browsers they should warn you if they site is a fake.
