Saving For Web

OK, I am slicing a template and coding it for an IPB skin. When I do a save for web and want to save the images as GIF only. I only get the option to save images (jpg). Is there a setting I am missing? I have looked for one but cant seem to figure out why it wont let me save them all as GIF.

Continues to save and the images will be .gif.

 

U can try after click on the .jpg thing, type in the filename bar, *.gif then erase it and save, sometimes taht works..

 

I will try that and see if it works.

 

I have no idea, just rename the files like the dude before me said.

 

Well, I have found a temporary work around, I have to make a slice then save and repeat until all my slices are made. But if I try and do 3 or 4 slices and save it saves 1 or 2 as gif and the others as jpeg.

I dont like to just rename the file as it isnt the correct format and can cause color issues. Pain in the rear to save, but will do it till I cna figure out whats up.
