Safely Remove Hardware

    Everytime i login there is this green arrow on my desktop tray saying if i want to remove a hardware...any way to disable it..since i dont want to remove a hardware lol

    not that I know of. Its generally used for like thumbdrives and ----. Mine shows that for my sata drive everytime I reboot, but after 5 minutes it autohides.

    I used to know how to do this... maybe that was back in Windows 2000.... Cant figure out how to in XP

    hmm on my pc it shows it only when i connect my mp3 player to it

    it shows it whenever you plug a removable device to it, like a pen drive or mp3 player..

    Don't worry about it, it is like if you want to go to My Computer (If you still have it named that) and telling your "iPod" or "Flashdrive" to "Eject." It may be cuased by several things. Serial ATA drives, FlashDrives, USB Devices (Printer Etc... Depending on how your computer interprates it), and some other things you have plugged in such as fire wire. Now, I wouldn't mess with it as it goes away. If it doesn't go away then just click on the start bar and properties and then tell it to hide if it is there. No big deal, I just wouldn't mess with it unless it is hurting you in some way, then I would go seek medical attention.

    I have that too. This means that you're hdds are hotswappable. i just hide it in my taskbar auto hide thing. nothing big.
