I don't see names on a couple, I think Broken's is one of them, but it could just be me. I'm working on my entry, hope it turns out.

Well Iceman, the theme is 100% pentool. Using text is fine, but when you have a render I'm sure it is no longer 100% pentool.

When I think "pen tool only," I think "vector only." Since in Illustrator you pretty much use the pen tool to make everything. Of course that doesn't mean for people to use pre-made vectors. Just to make everything 100% with the pen tool.

Daecu I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but you aren't cut out to be the moderator of SOTW...you're not active enough and you can never classify the rules in a distinct and understandable manner...

Xiouu just because I'm not active in BC doesn't mean I'm not active on the forums as a staff member.

I have to deal with college applications and school work outside of the internet myself you know ;) It takes me a little time and all I ask is some patience.

Seriously about the rules though... I was lax about it because apparently its to hard for people to realize that the words: PEN TOOL ONLY means PEN TOOL ONLY. :/ Whatever, reading or not is up to them.

Competition closes tonight, results will be up at the same time. For the record: I have said this before and I regret HAVING to say it again, when we don't get many votes, or there are ties, i will delay the posting of the results. 6 staff members have voted, normally we get up to at least 10, or 11 its been. This is not MY fault. I will no longer post a date for the results of the weekly competition, they will be returned when we have gotten a minimum of 8 staff votes.

I know bud, I'm not trying to attack you =_=

Sorry, its just causing some anxiety on my end too is all.

I'm hoping the change will help things a bit. I started up a big conversation about the voting in the staff section as well.

The holidays and weather have been making things hectic all over the place, we just need a bit of understanding =_=

As for the competition, all entries that are in right now will be accepted because I'm not going to examine every single one for the one aspect that COULDN'T have been done with pen tool. From now on, just remember that I really expect you all, the competitors, to just interpret the theme as you will, and it is up to the graphics crew to inform you if your entry doesn't fit the theme.

    Oof?
They may well need reminding off that too.
    Has that, ever, happened?

Anywho, holiday's were always going to be hectic on voting etc. so, appreciate the work you do do, we can live without results for a few extra days ; hardly the end of the world.
