when i think realism in the terms of signatures i think

fictional characters in real-life-like settings. But i dont do much with them anyway so~.... Besides, we just did real-life stocks, if it were the same thing then i dont think they'd be doing it :\

ya a lot of the entries are kinda iffy. i was mainly expecting tags like Slappy described, or like buffets entry here:

some of the entries will probably be disqualified, so make sure your entry is every day life. there are not gaming characters in everyday life. it doesnt have to be a stock. renders and stuff are fine, but it should have things that you see in everyday life.

    edit:
thinking about it a little bit. i will allow tags that have some non-human characters in it like daecu and mudz, but there MUST be an aspect of realism they daucu and mudz. you see it is a gaming character placed in a real-life scene.

My realism bases on videogame realism, not real life realism, bleh, whatever.

    Wack rules.

We need some size rules for SOTW. I have one with a game character in a subway but it's 500 x 375 and while it's not a normal signature size, there's no size limits so that is kind of whack. I won't enter until RX tells me the max size.

i made mine a bit bigger than usual cause it was hard to fit a nice image of real life in a small canvas :( But yeah >.< Mine is weird Lawl.

Well, I would like to point out that "everyday life" may be limiting.
Would "effects" be counted as "things that you see in everyday life"?

    For instance,
you said Mudz was okay, right? (oh and sorry Mudz, I'm just trying to prove my point - not to get you in trouble.)
Yet, you wouldn't see c4d around a person in everyday life...

Basically, I'm just still wondering where the line is being drawn between realism and non-realism. :)

realism doesnt have to be real life, it can be concept realism , realism just means that everything looks un-enhanced and the perspectives, lighting, depth all seem natural.
