OMG Why change the name Nintendo Revolution sounded much better than Nintendo Wii [Weeee] Well up to them - Even though not going to buy it but that name just ruined it

Yeah, read that news earlier, but I'm sure sales won't be affected just by the name, besides, its the power of the system and the line-up of games that matter, not just the name. On 2nd thought, how do you read wii? As in wii like wi-fi with an I or wii like weee.... lol.
just imagine if the DS was called the wii "touching your wii is good" wii sounds really stupid though
well i will admit that the names suxs but i say lets see how they develop the console and the games and most importanly the game play cause if they want to win fans this is going to be big factor to seprate them for the 360 to ps3
@Sevacro ROFL!!!! That's hilarious! Amazing how they compared it to google and ipod... OMG this is a GAMING system.... how dissapointing and I was soo excited to know what they new system would be called since "game cube" was such an adorable name that matched the looks of the console
Yeah. The new name is just ugly. Revolution had this deep, sinister, bad ass tone to it. Imagine going out buying the new Nintendo machine, and then you buy a really awsome, freaky/ation game like Resident Evil or who knows what, then you come home, pull the curtains, plug it in and put in the game. You turn it on, and drop in the chair or bed or whatever. Then the classical Nintendo logo comes up, fades away, and then it comes up: totaly gay light purple color with a fat child like font: "Wii" with some 8 year old nudered boy saying "weeeeee"...what a mood setter. I am gonna play my weeee...I DONT want to play a weeeee. Damnit Nintendo!
