Im not going to take sides, beause im not sure how this will go. But from what ive read, this controller has the potential to make nearly all game genres almost VR ish in their playability, which is a very exciting idea.
I think ninty deserve credit for being unique in their approach, instead of going for raw power like the other two. This isnt to say they are terrible, although i think the xbox 360 may well get stuck in between Revolutions ingenuity and PS3s power.
I think in the end it will come down to one thing, what each company does with its own specialities. PS3 has power, Xbox 360 has best online options so far, plus its out earliest, and the Revolution, with its limitless potential.
We should be pleased there will be so much to see in the coming months and years

Yea, they come out with a new controller that looks gay and just weird, I think they should've stuck withthe old one or something. That seriously looks pretty gay, waving a remote control around to move?

I doubt just because they have made a new controller that will change anything. Most people buy systems for games. I mean honestly, why would you buy a system because of its controller?

You clearly are not thinking. People will not buy it because of the controller, its the gameplay it brings.

i give nintendo credit for actually trying something different.

    PS2 is a playstation on it's side, PS3 is a PS2 curved(design wise)

Xbox360 is just a white Xbox. Practically the same style controller too.

But nintendo always pulls through with something different.

    I won't even bother...

HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO PLAY SUPER SMASH BROS. REVOLUTION WITH THAT :mad::mad::mad:

This better be a stupid huge romour... The controller looks awful and I don't think I even wanna try it out... Nintendo talks about simplicity, why not jst re-touch up the already awesome GC Controller? Instead of makin' tht piece of crap...

    ... I think I'm gonna buy a XBox 360 now...

Well someone tried somthing different for a change :D either way im getting the revolution for the same reason I have gotten any nintendo console, the games on that console where you can find no where else.Such as the zelda games which I have played since the NES to the gamecube and hope to continue since I can play some of the titles over and over.Im going to look into the revolutions new controller because when it comes out...i'll be using it.

Also why do you all give up on the revolution before even reading about the controller....gawd have an open mind.

What is with the fanboys on this site... Damn. I swear some of you havent read a single article on the controller and already you reject it. You haven't even SEEN the controller other than pictures. You haven't seen exactly how it works with gameplay. Sad.
