    <span style="color:limegreen">Hello,
Welcome to my written tutorial about 3D text LP
This is a pretty simple tut, I won’t be going deep into details.
Therefore, I just explain some simple things.
Ill go until you know how to create the text and efter that it will be your own creative mind.
Example what you will be making:

Programs you will need to have and you will need to use:
    Abobe Photoshop CS … (I used CS2)
Xara 3D6 (or you can have the trial version)

    Xara3D can be found here:
    http://site.xara.com/downloads/xara3d/
This is only the trial version. The real version will only make the rendering easier.

Once you have installed the programs you can start your work.
Open Xara 3D6 and get started. Xara 3D opens a new document automatically.

I will not explain every step. I will tell you how to create your text in step 1.
and in 1.2 wil be the photoshop part. step 2 and 3 will eb the coments on your work and the feedback

    Step 1.1
Now it depends on what you want. If you want your text scattered you will have to create every letter by letter-in Xara3D.
This is not so hard. Open the text by clicking the Aa button on the left And change your text in to the letter you want for your total 3D text LP. After that’s done push ok. (I use the font Debussy. The font can be found here: http://www.dafont.com/debussy.font

Then move to Design options on the right. Set border to text.
Go to bevel options (also on the right). Set that to rolled. Then play with depth.
Most of the times I set the depth around 20 – 25.
Step down is the shadow.. you can put that out, because you probably make your own shadow in Photoshop. You don’t need texture. (you might put it in their but I won’t) and animation won’t be needed in an LP.

Well it starts to look Nice imo.
At the top is a button that looks like light. Push the show/hide lightning button (ctrl + tab)

Then this will be more of a move for you guys to do. This is just how you like your taste.
If you want blue text you make the text blue first or if you want it red you make it red etc.
Ill just keep it how it is. Now move the arrows around. But make sure your foreground colour of the letter or text is way different then the colours of the other part of the letter (like the sides of it)
Once you think you have found your perfect colours. Then you may stop there.
Then you can choose for background colour on the same colour menu. It is easy to put it on green like on a green screen (easier to render)
    Go the file>export…
And just save it as a JPG you don’t have to change anything it good how it is now. Well you can also decide to say they should not crop it. This will make the file larger but easier too render.
Repeat this step until you have the whole name or word (text) But don’t foget. To make it look even more scattered you can move the Letter or text around a bit. So it looks to different ways. This will make it look more scattered (the scroll bars can be used to move to letter too)

(If you don’t want to do this letter by letter you can do the whole text at the same time but it won’t be scattered then)

    Step 1.2

This will be the Photoshop part.
This is easy. Because everybody has worked with these things, but they just did not know so far.
Well open you letter into you LP.
You can add a gradient to your background with the gradient tool or put a pattern there or anything other cool thing or stock you have in mind.
Once you have imported your letter (the rendering is easy just with magic wand tool you can get rid of the background colour) you may use pen tool or just the magic wand tool to select the front side of the letter witch has the very different colour (witch will make it easier the render it).
Once rendered and pasted on the LP (sorry for repeating the step), and you have selected the front side of the letter. You must create a new layer and fill the selected with white black red orange or anything else you want, because you won’t even notice in the end it was that colour. Go to blending options and add a gradient overlay. With any colour, too any colour you want. Along It is darker to light. Then ctrl that layer and make a new layer again. Then fill the selected layer with some nice vector brushes or plant brushes (colour is you choice mine was white). To make it look like it has blended I just set the layer to overlay.

This step should be done with every letter you have. Just use some of my outcomes for ideas.

After that all, you can add c4d’s or other objects to put it into the LP. Just make them look blended and make them come out from the text as if it is blown out of their so you get like WOW effect.
You can also put some vector brushes their for the background or for the wow they got blown out effect. Just put everything you want their as long as it does not get to messy.
Just put your own creative mind into their. So you will get something unique ;)

Then this would be it. I explained you how to create the letter / text for your LP.
The only thing you need to do is finishing it and bring op your own creative skills at it.
Because my skills are secret :P.
Anyway good luck and have a Nice time

    + rep appreciated

And please post your own outcome :)

Thnx to CozmaGFX.com and their member you have this tutorial now :)
