    I think this has been posted already but i couldnt find anything with the search option.

    I need a free program that lets me record whats going on on my desktop, like the ones used for making video tuts.

    Do u know any?

    I think there isn't much freeware that supports screencapturing for unlimited time or without silly text on it. If you don't mind illegal stuff or you wouldn't eventually mind paying.. I'd say Camtasia Studio.

    Fraps, Hypercam and Camtasia all offer trials ;)
