I've gotten into web page design. I'm working on a page for a client, and he wants some changes to it. I've made all of them but one, and I can't seem to come up with anything.

    Here is the page: http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/9185/ya...content1fj2.png

He wants the buttons (that say "top quartile", "above average," etc..) changed to be a bit more cartoony. I personally love my buttons, but I'm not the one buying the page. :P His idea was a stoplight. It could work, but I kinda wanted to impress him with something unique. If someone can give me an idea that I can go with, I'll pay you 200 creds if I use it.

    Any takers?

Change you're fonts. Don't use solely plain fonts, try using gradients, shadows, bold/italic etc. That can make a whole lot of difference. For the "cartoonizing part"... take a look @ http://www.iconarchive.com you might find something useful there...

    good luck

Thanks for trying to help guys, I appreciate it, but it's not my page to decide on fonts. I had different and stylish fonts to start out with, but they requested other fonts. They said they could only have web-standard fonts, which really limited me.

I've got the layout/colors/fonts all done, I just needed some ideas for the side icons. Thanks for the website frontmill :)

The beer bottle would be a good idea if the site wasn't designed for teenage girls

Dutch teenage girls don't have any problem with beer, maybe you should consider designing a special version for the dutch girls? :P

btw.. is stoplight correct english? I've never heard of that word before...

Edit: forgot to give you this -> A list with stock-icon websites, if you don't find anything there you'd better stop searching.. :D
