Thanks for all the submissions so far guys. I am picking top 3 now, and believe me it was a tough choice to pair them down.

Top 3 in no particular order:

PhiliG - http://philig.110mb.com/banner/banner2.html Change text and you have a good shot at this.

Ex. - Spiff up the border is all I would change on this submission.

UV Dior - Make the border cleaner and you are gtg.

These 3 are still in the running, and Nector will be a late submission for finals as long as he gets it in tomorrow.

Dreamery and KillMr - Your submissions were very tough for me to drop from the list. I actually agonized over this for a bit before deciding. 500 creds to each of you.

To the rest - Thanks for the submissions. Just because I didn't do choose you, does not mean I did not like nor appreciate the the work you put into making them. 100 creds to each who did not make the list.

 

how would i make the border cleaner?

The border looks transparent as I can see parts of the banner behind it. Sometimes I like that look, but for this one I think it should be a solid type border.

So would you like some sort of pattern on the border? I'm not sure what you mean by spiff it up.

 

A pattern would be good, or an effect instead of just a plain white or black solid color.

Dreamery - It was a pleasure as well and definately tough to cut you out of the top 3.

Kill - I still think your font and text was the best overall. I really liked how the words flowed down even providing a little acronym TESR.
