[req] Full Template/banner/forums Contest

This is a contest and the winner of the initial contest will get the commissioning for the project and the 10k credits depending on the quality of the work being done.

Details

1. Everyone who contributes something, will receive something. That is how I work. Note: If your submission is a lazy attempt, your payment may not be much.

2. The contest will be for a banner, matching coded template for main site and forums. I am only expecting the banner to be posted in the contest, then the commisioning portion will take place after i choose the contest winner and then the template for both main site and forums should be created.

To clarify: You only need to make the banner. If you win, you will then be required to make the matching template for mainsite, forums and code it. Hope that helps.

3. The forums will be Invision Power Board. Throwing this caveat out there now due to the fact some people may not work with IPB.

Style:

Game - Elder Scrolls 4 - Oblivion
Title - The Elder Scrolls Repository
Color Scheme - Midieval-ish. Browns, tans, burgundy, etc etc.

Banner size = Must look good on 1024x768 and above resolutions. The banner can be something smaller like 700x200 or 700x300 or something with fill in graphics to fill out the sides for higher resolutions. Make sense?

Use your imagination and put your skill to the test. The winner will be rewarded greatly.

Going to give this a couple of weeks and check submissiosn, answer questions, etc before setting a deadline for the contest. This ensures a lot of people have a chance to look at it, and go from there.

Congratulations.

After deliberating a bit, I decided I liked his style the best and he was the only one to take it a step further and add in the repeating portion as well as spice it up with login functions (not coded) but provided the look.

The details for finishing the project:

5000 credits up front.
2500 for finish of the main template
2500 credits for finishing the IPB template

Remember, this has to be coded as well. We can discuss details over MSN, PM's, etc.

Once you initiate first contact Phili, I will send the 5k creds and we can go over everything. I will provide you access to my hosting so you can upload and test stuff as you go.

Well, I was thinking the banner size should be something would easily work with 1024x768 reso and above. The banner itself could be smaller with fill-in graphics to fillout the sides for different resolutions. Make sense?

 

So we would need to make :

- Banner
- Forum Skin
- Main site

And would it have to be all coded and you would decide winner by banner?

 

The banner portion is all that is need to be made for submission. If I decide you are the winner, then you will be commissioned and paid the 10k for the template design for main site, forum, banner and the coding portion.

Well you could make a 700x300 banner, just as long as it would fit well into the template you would be making next if you won.

Like the banner above for GR. It is less than 500 wide, but there is filler graphics that extend the banner across the screen to fit your particular reso. Make sense now?
