Reputation Situation.

why do we even have rep? it means nothing...

mostly what epople do is get there friend and say --Rep me DUDE!

its not used for what its suppose to be used for..

on top of that the rep catagory like take it away.. thats pretty dumb i think they should just deal with it i'v gotten dumb reps but i don't care..

i just think its useless..

Personally, I agree. It causes more trouble than good in my opinion. However some people value it when it comes to deciding whether or not to trust someone in the marketplace among other things. It won't be going anywhere for a while probably, so it's just something we need to deal with as it comes.

 

It takes like 1-2 hours to set up the mod and to take it away it would take the same amount of time, i say leave it, to much trouble, and you'll probs get a big error.

I love the rep system it shows which are the most respected members.

Rep is pretty stupid though if you ask me, excep t it does point out who is respected, and if you dont have alot of rep, Sniper will go in your thread saying "i hope this is your work and not somone elses" (nothin bad to snipe, but its just an example.) it is used for trust i suppose

I think REP is a good thing, but we need a better system for it.

 

I honestly think that this system is great, yes you could make your own, but it would take along time, also with this rep it takes a while to un-install.

Whats so bad about it? Exept for people complaining for every little rep they get, it's not that bad.

I was thinking about it and it does cause alot of trouble but it is a extra feature available, a good feature, my suggestion is that if the mods don't want to carry on removing the negative reps and positive reps that people dont want then get a few people , older more mature members of the community cause believe it or not there actually a few and give them the permissions to remove the reps or make it so the sectional mods can do it as well. I know Draven, Marforce and Red Alert are all capable of making the right decisions but in actual fact if all the mods were to check the rep abuse section then it make alot less wo0rk for the Mods that do check it. Also if the people that don't care about the rep system and the ones that don't want it, its simple, dont use it. Theres nothing that says you have to use it or cause you've got a bad rep total its the end of you at gamerenders. Many people don't like it so your not alone.

let's say u wanted to buy credits from someone and u see that their rep is at -5 because of scamming people, u probably wouldn't want to do business with that person, especially when it comes to your real money. then u see someone selling the same amount of credits but their rep is at 25, u would probably choose that person to buy the credits from

 

If someone had scammed someone then they would probably be banned. If you wanna use real money on the internet you run a certain risk anyway. Most peoples reps come from Renders anyway nowadays or for certain stupid reasons like 'cause your the sex'.
