V2 for sure, I think if the shapes/brushing were removed his left shoulder (our right) it would look much better, the focal would look more...up front or something. I like it, nice style.

You know, I think this effect would may work good on your sig.
Put the clipping mask or what it is at one side behind the person and at the other in front of him.
That is a nice way to create some depth.
