Most annoying is when people just post a link to another tutorial or website and say "+Rep if you love me!" or ask for rep if they think they deserve it... all they did was post a link from something they were using. And then everyone says "Dude, thanks for sharing, +Rep" Rep is kinda a waste now
Its a min of 1 post i believe, as you have to +rep in response to a topic. Thanks for the + rep whomever, wasn't much needed just wanted to get some feedback before I got on a -repping rampage (joking, however I do -rep people who go over the top when and ask for them, on my travels (don't go looking for them)) Daz
Oh well either way^ you dont have to post much I personally do hate when people ask for a +rep...but just links and such are fine if it asks for creds thats cool..but reps is just stupid...
share some psd with some1 for free and they will +rep u l0lz .... maybe supper nice extremely amazing render u will get a lot of +rep for sure
yea its pretty bad how people ask for rep for the smallest things. like, they try to sneak it in, it is rediculous!
The only time i ask for plus rep is if people like my renders. I don't care if i have a huge amount of rep or not. It will build over time if i deserve it
Just don't worry about it...No matter what the only way you can stop it is by getintg rid of rep, which won't happen.
Also, i haven't really ever found a purpose for rep. I mean, creds, you can use. And if it really is just for reputation, if you actually have one, people don't need "points" to prove it
rep makes you more trust worthy, like when selling stuff where people could rip you off, who would you trust -- someone with -5 rep? or +64 rep? people also respect you more if you have higher rep because it shows that you are a nice person, and/or you have contributed a lot to the community.
It used to be. It has now been upped to 175. I have my +rep in my sig because I help alot of people out in the computing section, I do NOT ask for rep. I just appreciate it if I help someone.
