    -rep definitely.

I'm defnitely improving my renders and that's a nice little technique to get rid of those annoying outlines.

Thanks alot man, well deserved pat on the back.

    EDIT:

Hmm.. After a few opinions... Maybe rendering isn't dead afterall =|

Hopefully this tutorial isn't as good as some people made out for it to be...

    Tutorial explains everything.

I don't wanna be a huge noob, but isn't this like a Quick Mask? Anyway, this won't kill rendering? This is just for special effects, but not for things like hair etc.

Laugh at me, I'm just keep going on with my pen tool.

Anyways, iv'e known this for ages - never used it and don't think i ever will
yes iv'e done it once, just to try it out, but never released to the gamerenders public.

ya'll have fun, i think i'll stick to my pen tool,
it's easy to tell when somethings been extracted and if anyone has any sence they wont go around extract render topics going "z0mg!! great cut on the fire! I r t3h 1337 h4x!"

I think rendering is alot more than just cutting out pictures. And gamerenders is a community which is much more than a few people who like to cut out pictures.

This technique is very nice and it will make some renders loads easier to do. But as I said rendering is about alot more then just cutting out stuff. It's about patience and skill. And if you show your latest work, you want people to respect your work. As for me, this will only take rendering to a higher level, instead of killing it.

... just Render In Peace, dude
