This is stupid. You guys complain about dA rips, when you also rip gamewallpapers/google images aswell. None of you have the rights from GW or Google to use those images, just like Da.

 

i hope this helps put a stop to those stupid rippers

 

How can you rip from google? Its a search engine

 

i personally dont like the idea. that means when you want to render something you need to email the author, wait for the email back and by the time you have got the replie they will probably say no, or you wont want to use it anymore. but it will cut down on rippers.

 

If you wish to keep a site quiet, then your allowed to PM the moderators the link instead. The only subscription site i know of that is any decent, is GameWallPapers.

If their is a few you want to provide to me, i'll keep note of them for future references.

What is CG?

Are you referring to Computer generated? Because if so even gamewallpapers are included as they come from Cg graphics. If you think about it, everything is copyrighted, fanart, games images, all of it, someone else did it, even wallpapers, they ripped first and then we rip them. :unsure: Is this how it works?

I mean when people rip from DA it is mostly because people at DA do not copyright it so they find a loophole like I just said.

 

I agree to this rule only out of respect for the people who run and moderate these boards. I have taken alot of renders and given alot of renders back and I enjoy my time here no matter what rules are in place. If this is something that has been decided is needed, I am no one to say it's not.

Unfortunately, this rule will stop me from posting any further renders here. Im lazy and it is too much work to do all the things that were posted.

 

I second Ghriffins comment. I mean, now, you guys are going to lose alot of renderers by enforcing this new rule. Most people get their pictures from places that they do not want to reveal and PMing mods about this stuff for basically every render will get a pain in the butt.

And what about render packs? Do we have to state the resources for all of those too?

 

What if the render is an in-game screenshot or something that you made yourself. How you gonna give a link to that.
