Congrats to LA and blackdude, great renders guys, really tight.
Also, well done to everyone else who entered and made the competition possible.

I really hope this competition prospers as it is the main facet of this site and would encourage upcoming talents to embrace this community :)

Good luck to everyone in the future

    INPUT:

Great time management, compliments to you jay and LA to some extent i believe.

Voting seems alright but i was wondering if you can check who actually voted to prevent self voting and 1 post wonders.

Themes, seems like a good idea but IMO you should have a freestyle every month, seems more fun and the renders that will come out will be great.

Limited size, not quite sure how that would work. Couldn't you render a large image and resize it? Maybe you could have general ones like females, males, groups but later venture into more specifics

    Overall, love the idea

    it ran really well

i don't really like that set render idea cuz u will just end up with a bunch of renders that look almost identical which will be kind of hard to judge

not to mention the rippers out there

Good job, Huy-N, LA-384 and black_dude504! Nice renders, good organised competition!

But I'm not sure if a poll really is required. In my opinion posting your vote is way better, because it prevents self voting and " 1 post wonders" :)

A poll is faster, but do realise that you have to watch every render before you can actually make a vote. People that check out every single render in the competition (how it should be), won't mind making a short post.

Also I think that links to the renders isn't the best solution. If you can see all the renders right away, voting will take less time. And the first half doesn't have an advantage over the second half (people could just watch the first few and then vote because they dont want to check all of them).

Overall I think this first ROTW went great, good job Jay and LA! Can't wait to see what's next B)

Yes, the poll is the only problem i realy see.
In most competitions there are problems with piblic voting, and i cannot check votes without acess to the ACP.
Theres nothing much i can do to prevent that, which is why public voting only counts for a small amount of the final results (about 1/7th) it's realy just to give a basic impression of public oppinion :)

any ideas would be great :D
