Remote Desktop Connection & Bandwidth

    Well, today I've surfed the web looking for programs come to find out that theres one built right into XP PROFESSINAL I decided to try it when I got home my question to you is, if I use this at school will it consume bandwidth LOTS of bandwidth that would make surfing the web a hasle for others?

    Using remote desktop shouldn't take up a lot of bandwidth if you set it up correctly. Do you know what ports you need forwarded to be able to use that funchtion? It's port 3389 and you need that open in the firewall where the remote system is located.

    I don't think it uses any bandwidth because it shouldn't be connected to the internet
