Yeah I hate that too, it's so stupid to -rep someone just because you got all pissy over one. Chances are you were -repped for being an idiot to say the least, so don't further support them by doing that.

I find it hilarious that 90% of everyone who posted in this thread has at some point asked directly, or indirectly for rep and are agreeing with this statement..... if your sick of people abusing take it off it'll solve a lot of trouble. IMO the rep modification brings more issues to the admins than anything.

Then you tell the mods to sort it out ;) They will punish them if necessary

Well rep is a issue but many members abuse it

All i will say is that if u got a unfair rep then contact the admins coz they the only ones who can remove it

    OR

Contact Mods they will sort the other abusive member out :)

How about you just remove the CREDIT & REP system so little kids stop crying about their rep and begging for credits like little girls who go to the store.

    few questions

-How many posts do you have to have to + or - rep someone?
    -How do you do so?

thats it, i guess it was more like a couple not a few.

You need 100 posts to be able to give reputation points. Next to each post, with the info about the member who posted it, there's a reputation counter. Next to everyone's rep counter (besides your own) there is a + and a -. The + gives +rep and the - gives -rep. :)
