As long as this abuse has been occurring, the rule has been in place for longer. That's why this thread was titled "Reminder". But you are correct, and your points are extremely valid. Both +repping for gender and "e-popularity" are invalid and will result in you losing rep privileges if repeated.

As always, we would appreciate if members would press the little "Report" button when they see this kind of misconduct. It will help us clean up the forum much more quickly.

    NOTICE TO ALL RENDERERS
If you placed a "+rep if you like" in your post, and found it removed, DO NOT PUT IT BACK IN. It was removed for a reason, and if you put it back in, YOU will be removed. [/b][/quote]
    ...

Whut if, I've included "+ Rep me blah blah blah" in my tutorial? Like actually written it there?

I can't really go back an edit that

i want to point out why is it that no matter how many times i have had rep removed even when i deserved it EVERYONE STILL BRINGS IT UP ....
look though my rep read it ur see they are all deserved i will have them removed again if this bitching about it keeps happening...
why jus point me out why dont u look at some others on the forum that have many invalid reps more than me not gonna say names but this is getting very old and very annoying

@Girly, i dont know why everyone picks on you... its just a common name to pick on... It used to be that you couldnt see your own rep, but i think it should be that others cant see it. [the reasons, not the number] unless they are a mod. Its not really their buiseness, and they shouldnt try to interfere with them. im not really suggesting anything, but people should keep to themselves.

@Renegade, that will work for the ones he makes past this point, but he's talking about the old ones. He would have to go back into the .PSD and take it out and reupload it for all the ones he has done, kinda a hassle.

Maybe trying to go back and correct wrongdoings in the past isn't the best idea here for now, agreed? I mean, prevention is what we're trying to establish now, aren't we? We can always go back and rectify later...but I really suggest that we establish a strong rule that will outlaw all these things, and enforce it.

EDIT: i'm snooping for reports now.

Instead of goin back to the psd to remove it, just copy it,paste in paint, and draw a black bar over it, then save it...no one will see it if its covered up :D

Way toooooo much hassle, paint would crash and I'd have to re-upload it an' stuff.

It'd also make the tutorial seem a little weird >_<

I'll refrain from doing it on my new Tutorials :)

"Please remember that selling, exchanging, or giving an invalid/no reason when handing out reputation is strictly not allowed. Any attempt at doing so will cause you to be permenantly restricted from giving out reputation."

Does this warrant a suspension, or a ban on the account? It didn't specify HOW the user will be punished in this case. Does "permanently restricted from giving out reputation" mean that the user simply is just deprived of using the rep system, or he/she is indirectly banned?

No suspension/ban? That's too loose I'd say because you can always create multiple accounts...

IMO none of this would necessary, except for the fact that people don't +rep in the renders section lately.

When people post 'funny videos' asking for reputation, you know its gone to far.

People will be suspended/fine if it becomes a recurring problem with them. The other moderators & I have no problem doing so,
