Im just starting to learn photoshop, and ive noticed that most of the signature tutorials require you to use a C4D. I found plenty of these in the 3d section, my only concern is when they have a black background. Do you try and erase the black background the C4D is pasted on or do you just work around it?

    Thanks

If you want to have the C4D normal, say if you were using an abstract one or w/e, you could go Select>Color Range... and choose the black bit. That'll select all black on the image then just press delete. Of course if the C4D itself contains black then that wont work too well :P
