Reformating Instructions

    Hey, my comps been really slow and clunky lately and i am looking into reformatting it, ive never reformatted b4 so i have no idea how can anyone point me out some directions on how to reformat i have hte windows xp disc i thin and it someone could just point out some directions from like a website or something id be greatful

    And re-installing windows is an option since it repairs windows, so you dont have to reformat the OS partition. Have a look at the link below this should have a tutorial and I made a quick explination of how partitions work.

    BTW if you have a pirated version of Windows you have a problem if using windows update since it says you have to have "Genuine" version of windows and makes you do a check on your version of windows. You should also update windows with SP1 and SP2 (optional has issues with games check Microsoft site for details).

    forgot how to mention to switch your CD-rom drive to your first boot device :D

    O ye-lol :D TY perko I keep that in mind but some are different when changing priority devices so maybe thats why i never did it ^_^
