    *lifts stone* Hellooooooooooo?

Before you start reading, this isn't a rant, not even by a long shot ;)
I'm just wondering what has happened to the activity here at GameRenders and the mutual appreciation. Now, as far as activity goes, it's still pretty decent when it comes to regular sections and sig sections. But the appreciation? There are a lot of people really trying to contribute to the community, either by resources, reviews, ideas, ... but they hardly get any support these days.

It seems to me everyone is wrapped up in their own little world, expecting people to only comment on their contributions. So every once in a while I see some people making a fuss about others not appreciating their efforts.
Now, if we ALL were to be a bit more supportive, would that make this forum a better place? Heck, it would even make the wolrd a bit of a better place ^^

So think about it, next time you use a resource or read a tut, review, idea... comment on it, rahter than just reading it like a zombie. I'm not saying to place useless comments, but come on, there are thousands of registered members, most of you must have something decent to say... right?

And one other thing. I WANT YOU TO COMMENT on my little post here, but I don't want it to turn into flaming. Think before you type something down.

i'd make tuts, but i'm positively no good at it lol. i'm in process of making another PSD pack and i give my best comments when it comes to the sig makers. if some of the people here wanna be secluded and be in their "clicks" of people, so be it. there's still some of us who want to help

Very nice point there mate, I would love to collaborate more with you on this matter. But give me a little more time, my father is actually sick and is admitted in the hospital right now, so I'll come to you in a while and will share what I think of this. Maybe I can give you a few ideas =]

Yeah there's no doubt it would be better, though it is evident a lot of people on this site are self-centered. I don't really have much to offer right now (except for my body :P) but good luck with this, and if I should come up with any ideas I"ll be sure to let you know.

There won't be any ideas that can solve this problem imo. It's the people think and act. it's hard to chance that, but it's really sad to see what kind of mentality rules Gr these days.

It's all about me, me and more me. And then they get upset because people don't comment on their work...
THE idea is ==> you give a little, you get a little

It's really not that hard to apply either ;)

Oh wow, you are a loser for ranting here, seriously what is your problem? This place is fine, don't like it? Leave.

    Completely joking. =D

Honestly, I miss the days that this place had so much interaction, and I think it's safe for me to say I have not been too terribly active considering how long I've been here. So I am definately a part of this issue you're noting here, and I feel guilty for that, but my activity has been improving. It's just that I'm awfully busy that it's sometimes hard to manage even to hop on the computer for 5 minutes to check this forum. I know that some others here have to be the same.

The problem are the people who essentially leach this forum's resources and talents and cast them aside, and it's those people we need to somehow reach out to. So although I agree with what you said, I don't necessarily agree with who you ... (this is a poor word choice, please don't take it the wrong way) accuse of causing this. You make it seem like it's just the majority population being narcissistic. Sure, this is a valid point, but I think the largest problem at hand is most people are just jacking those (like you, SP) who are kind enough to lend out their helping hand.

And I will now make a phenomenal (unrelated) comment:

    Dumbledore is gay.
