It looks like a render with some white brushing in the bg, along with a picture of mars with a little black on it. If im wrong please correct me, but thats all im getting, and i dont really like it. Just not my style i guess.

actually, the reddish moon ain't mars. did it it PS, but its ur opinion m8, no hard feelings from here.

edit: oh, and no 'white brushing' thats actually a faded render clouds, with a mask ans some erasing brushing on the edges.
